More Information...

This pebble and rock beach has some patches of sand and is backed by cliffs. The terrain can be difficult for those with mobility problems as the rocks are often quite slippery. Llantwit Major beach is popular with dog walkers and families who come here to hunt for crabs and other marine wildlife in the rockpools. There are also some fossils to be seen here among the strata of the cliff face.. From the beach there are views across the Bristol Channel, towards Minehead and Exmoor. There is a free car park here and a beach café selling food, drink and souvenirs, with a separate toilet block.
