This location is classed as Seaside.
It's Longitude is 1.0070122 and Latitude is 51.0343036, and it's readable address is Hythe Rd, Dymchurch, Romney Marsh TN29, UK.
This beach forms part of a long stretch of sand and shingle backed by a wide sea-wall, which it is possible to walk along. As you head North-East, the beach becomes quite narrow. Martello Tower (number 24) overlooks this stretch of the beach. This once formed part of the military defences built to defend the south coast from a possible Napoleonic invasion. The invasion never happened. Today this particular tower has been converted for use as a private residence. Romney Marsh is not far from the beach and young visitors will enjoy taking a ride on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, which runs steam/diesel locomotives along a 13.5 mile stretch of coastline here.
