This location is classed as Seaside
This little-known sand and shingle beach is now owned by the National Trust and comes complete with a members car park. The beach at Cogden is an unusual mix in that it feels remote, is often described as a "secret beach" yet is surprisingly easy to get to. The X53 bus even stops here! What you won't find at Cogden are facilities, but this seems a fair trade for a a bit of peace in this beautiful rural setting.
