This location is classed as Seaside
Located just around the corner from the Lizard Point (mainland Britain's most southerly point) is the picture postcard fishing village of Cadgwith. Here, the jumble of whitewashed thatched cottages spill down the hill to a small shingle beach which doubles as a harbour. Like other beaches on the Lizard Peninsula the water here is clear and clean making it an ideal spot for snorkelling. There is a smaller, rock and pebble cove just on the other side of the little headland and a little further round the cliffs is the "Devil's Frying Pan". This is a natural blowhole where waves crashing on the rocks send sea spray high in the air.
