More Information...

The stunning beach at Beauport Bay on Jersey consists of a strip of golden sand that is sheltered from the wind and also known as something of a sun-trap. The south-facing beach gets the best of the local weather, and it is only in the late afternoon that the sun drops behind the cliffs to the west. This is one of the most picturesque and easily recognisable beaches on Jersey as it has featured in a range of advertising campaigns for the island. The beach itself is made up of soft sand which then backs on to a pebble bank, and the area directly behind the beach is a nature reserve. Whilst the beach is generally safe and swimming is popular there are no lifeguards on patrol so care should be taken. In addition there is little in the way of facilities here so bring what you need.
